A novel of salvage high chapter 5

              ALEX POV
   •
I went to my hangout to wash up and changed into another uniform.

“The nerve of her.” I cursed.

“I told you man, Jeremey’s plan is not going to work. If you want to get back at someone, be a man and not a sneak. Get back at her openly, not in a sneaky way.” Gabriel said.

“You talked well Gabe, because blaming each other is the only way to feel better now.” Jeremey blurted.

“Gosh, the video is all over the school group.” Gabriel gasped.

“What do we do now, Alex? Our reputation has been shattered.” Jeremy said, throwing a fist in the air.

“We’ve to put back the pieces somehow.” Alex muttered, between clenched teeth.

“Do you want us to involve the elders?” Jeremey asked.

“No, I hate getting my father involved in creepy catfights.”

“Then go report her to the principal. We have video proof, the video is all over the school.”

“Shut the f¥ck!” I shouted, starling them. “Can you even listen to yourself? Humiliating myself because I want the school to get revenge on her, just for a short-term suspension or even worse disciplinary action. No, we shouldn’t embarrass ourselves that way.”

“Man, let’s just get back at her the way we know best. No one dares to step on us and go freely. She is already in our black book, let’s open the record again.” Gabriel said, and we both looked at him.

I smiled wickedly as I remembered the last time we added a student to our black book. He was Orion Lace.  The only son of a young multibillionaire. He came to this school and think he could steal our thrown, but we added him to our black book, making him an outcast in school. We faced a lot of disciplinary action because of him, but at the end; he transferred. We created the black book to put  scholarship students in their place, but after dealing with a conglomerate son with it, we faced several challenges and with that, so we lost interest in it; the thought of reopening the book we closed two years ago was a bit fascinating. .

“Yes, let’s do that. Let’s reopen the black book.” I muttered, and they both smiled.

“Gabe, this is the first time you speak sense in  a long while.” Jeremy teased, and Gabriel glared at him.

            📌 KEISHA POV 📌
During recess, everyone left the class so I went to the class president to return his shirt.

“Hi Chris, thank you for the shirt. I made sure I wash and ironed it.” I said, and gave it to him.

“I warned you to avoid Alex, I warned you because I was the reason why you got involved with him in the first place. But seem like you’ve made up your mind.” He muttered, not looking at me.

“Is he that shy to make eye contact?” I thought, and covered my mouth wondering if I said it out loud, but thank goodness I didn’t. “Thanks again for the shirt.” I said, and returned to my seat.

Due to reasons best known to me, I don’t feel like going out for recess; maybe it’s to avoid those crazy people who called themselves my fans or perhaps anti-fan. Most especially that weird boy, Stella. The thoughts of him gives me creeps.

I brought out a book from my bag to read; I’m not the kind who read but I don’t know why I found myself doing it. I opened the first page, and started thinking of my cousin. I was already lost in thoughts when three girls ran into the class room getting my attention.

“Keisha, yeah that’s your name. Why don’t you come out for recess.” One of them said, and I looked at her.

“Chill, we don’t bite. We the students prepared a little something for you to welcome you to our school.” Another said.

“Wait. You guys do that here? Welcoming to school?” I asked, with wide eyes.

“Not always, we only do it for special students like you.” The one who talked earlier said.

“Wow. But what makes me a special student?” I asked, to be sure if this isn’t plotted by those fans or anti-fan - I careless about any of them.

“Come with us, and find out.” The third one urged. Obviously, she doesn’t want to leave without saying a word.

I let out a sigh and decided to go with them because going to take a look won’t  hurt.

“I would rather sit.” I heard a masculine voice say; and I turned to Chris because he is the only male in the class, but his attention was glued to the book he was reading.

   “I must’ve heard it wrong.” I thought.

“Come on, let’s go.” One of the girls said, and they dragged me to the cafeteria.

We got to the cafeteria, and I was instantly surrounded by a lot of students.

“What’s going on?” I asked, and the students brought out their phones to take videos. “This doesn’t seem like a nice a welcoming.” I thought.

I composed myself ready for the worst when  three cute looking girls joined me in the big circle.

“Hi, honey. We are bees.” One of the girls that I assumed to be the leader said.

“Who cares if you are mosquitoes?” I grumbled.

“Bibi.” The leader said, and pointed at herself.

    “Eva.” Another said.

“Emma.” The third said, and that was when I realized that they were introducing themselves.

“And Summer.” The last one said, and I found myself clapping.

“Nice, it’s a nice introduction. So how may I help you?” I asked, and they chuckled.

“Well, we host a special welcoming for you, let’s get it done with before recess is over.” Bibi said,

They led me to a table, and pulled out a seat for me. The seat is different from other seats at the cafeteria.

“Must I sit here?” I asked, if my instinct is right, I could tell they were up to no good.

“Of course, it’s specially for you because you are the star today. Please do me the honor, and sit down.” Bibi said.

I looked at the seat for a while before sitting; and immediately, the chair broke and I fell down.

“Oops… The chair is broken.” Bibi said, and they all feigned an innocent look.

“So you guys are the new bullies, hun?” I shouted, and intend to stand up but my body felt so weak.

“Don’t be too hard on yourself, babe. We can still do the lunch that way. Right, girls?” Bibi asked, and the girls giggled. “Have some rice.” She said, and pour a plate of rice on me, followed by another plate of food and several plate of food were poured on me; leaving me helpless.

“What are you girls doing to her?” I heard a masculine voice said, and I looked up at my prince in charming amor. He might not be that handsome, but as long as he is saving me, he is my prince. “Are you ok ?” He asked, and our gaze met.

“Do I look ok young man?” I almost cried.

“Here, wash up with this.” He said, and poured a bottle of water on me.

“Prince my foot.” I cursed inwardly.

Many others gathered and started throwing things at me till recess was over, and they all ran to their class when a teacher showed up.

“Oh, my. Dear, are you ok?” The teacher asked, and I pretended to faint from embarrassment.

When I opened my eyes in the school clinic, I was given fresh clothes before I went to shower. Even though I washed my body thoroughly, I still smell of food. Ewwwww…

I was summoned to the principal’s office later, and the principal welcomed me with a glare when I’m clearly the victim here.

“Miss Hundus, I don’t appreciate your presence here. You just resumed yesterday, and you are already causing troubles.”He said, and I looked at him wondering what I did wrong.

“I’m clearly the victim here.” I blurted.

“Will you be quiet?”He shouted, hitting her desk. “The students reported you. You fell from your seat and the foods on the table poured on you. They were trying to help you but you threaten to deal with them, and even went as far as telling them that you will frame them for bullying you.” She said, and I looked at her unable to believe my ears.

“Sir, and you believe all that?”

“Miss Hundus, you just resumed yesterday, and have been reported to my office twice. If you get reported again, I’ll advise you transfer before your expulsion.”He said, and I found myself laughing.

“Sir, are you really going to believe alll those ? Because obviously my side of the story doesn’t matter.”

“Do you have a different story to tell? More than ten students reported the same thing, and I saw a video on how you bullied your fellow classmate Alexander Grey in class earlier. Do you expect me to believe you, who just resumed over ten students that I’ve been monitoring for years? I even got informed on the fan group you created to share stories on those you bullied. Your records from your previous school were just as bad, but I thought you could turn a new leaf here that’s why I accepted you in this scared school; but turns out a rotten fruit must be disposed anyways.” He said, and I only held onto one statement.

“I see, you did a great job in monitoring your students for years, that’s why you are all alike.” I found myself saying, and I stormed out of her office.

I felt too embarrassed to return to class, and I found a place to hide from teachers, thinking of the best way to get back at everyone ; but nothing came to my mind. I sat down there till school dismissed, and the only thing I could think of is how to run away and go to Kaye, or even returning to the countryside to live alone. I’ll survive just fine alone.
*
I went to my locker later to get some books, and the students keep on looking at me. I Ignored them all and opened my locker, and a mice ran out of it.

“Argggghhh…” I screamed and everyone laughed. I might be very brave and all, but I hate mice so much, the thought of them gives me creeps not to talk of seeing out run out of my locker. “How am I supposed to touch my books now?” I cried.

“Isn’t that from the science lab?” I heard the students said.

I walked to the parking lots thinking about my life when I saw Chris, he gave me a look that means “I warned you, didn’t I ?” Before he continued on his way.

“It’s not because of you.” I shouted, and he turned looked at me. “It’s not because of you, Chris. If it was someone else, I would have interfered as well so don’t blame yourself for anything.” I said, and he continued on his way.

“At least now he will stop blaming himself, and also quit interfering in my business.” I thought, and continued on my way when someone bumped into me. “Gosh.” I shouted, and the student ran off dropping something. “Hey, you dropped this.” I shouted, and picked it up then I realized that it’s a note for me. “Black list.” I thought, reading the weird content in the note.
