A novel of salvage high chapter 3
Alex POV
•
After the principal dismissed us, I went to my hang out with my friends; Gabriel and Jeremy. We have been friends since elementary school, and we enjoyed bullying students together. I never intended to bully Chris, the class president: but he over used his power. I never cared about my grades but somehow I always end up with good grades so keeping my good record was a hubby and also a way to make my father proud; permitting me to do things my way.
“I trust my son, he might act carelessly at times, but he knows how to maintain his grades.” My father always say.
Due to that, I’m forced to keep up my grades; but recently, I’ve been emotionally stressed out because of a lady that my friends introduced to me. She won’t stop bugging me and I’ve been stressed out trying to get rid of her that I ignored my academic in the process, and when I returned to sanity, my grades were already falling and the only way to climb up again is by doing well in a project report. My friend’s advised me to fabricate the report for better score, and I took the advice only for Chris to find out, and reported me to the class teacher.

“Gosh, are we going to let that nosy class president off the hook just like that?” Jeremey shouted.
He is the trouble maker among us all, always finding a reason for us to bully others, and we all enjoyed it together.
“I’ll just redo the assignment, fairly.” I muttered, my mind still troubled by the transfer student that butt into my business.
“Really? You are gonna allow Chris win just like that?” Jeremy shouted.
“I can’t believe that transfer student, she is all over the student group tagged as FEARLESS.” Gabriel said, emphasizing his last words.
“How dare she butt in my business? No body dares.” I rant.
“But she did.” Gabriel mocked, and I glared at him. “Relax, dude. I’m just being rational here. She is just a transfer, she doesn’t know how things run here.”
“Who is she anyway?” Jeremy asked.
“I don’t know. I’m still trying to figure her out.” Gabriel said. “What is this? Log in to the class group chat.” He exclaimed.
I logged in immediately, and saw the most exciting coincidence ever. *Ms. Fearless is our classmate.*
“This seems fun, guys.” Jeremy said, laughing sarcastically.
“Yes, absolutely. Let’s go to class.” I added, and we all smiled.
*
We got to class and Ms. Fearless has the audacity to sit on my seat, after she left I couldn’t concentrate in anything till it was recess wondering what gave her such guts.
We went to our hangout when it’s recess, and I was lost in thought thinking of how to get back at Ms. Fearless while Gabriel was running a thorough check on her.
“Amazing! She transferred from the countryside.” Gabriel said in exclamation, and we both looked at him.
“You don’t mean it.” Jeremy said, with a smirk.
“She transferred from High Girls high school, it’s a local school by the countryside. She had few bad records from her previous school, and she has transferred schools three times since she started grade school.” He concluded.
“So, she is just a countryside champion trying to get involved with me, to make a name for herself.” I muttered, between clenched teeth.
“Who are her family?” Jeremy asked.
“I’m not sure yet because I can’t find any records on Hundus here, but she is somehow related to the Wilson’s.” Gabriel replied.
“The Wilson’s? That own Wills Group?” Alex asked, scoffing.
“Yes.”
“Those lowly people?” Jeremy asked, unable to hide in laughters.
“Let’s go to the cafeteria to have lunch.” I said, and they both smirked: they could easily tell that we are going to catch a prey.
*
We got to the cafeteria and was welcomed by a beautiful sight - the Ms. Fearless seated on our table having lunch. We barely come to the cafe to have lunch but that table is specially excluded for us.
Jeremey made a fist, but I held him to keep calm.
“The fun is just getting started.” I whispered, and they both chuckled.
We approached the table and her eyes widen in shock, looking at us.
“We don’t bite.” I said, smiling brightly.
“Oh! Obviously. You aren’t a dog.” She blurted, and I made a fist trying to compose myself.
“Ms. Fearless, I really want us to get along, so let’s have lunch together in harmony because I like your charisma.” I said, and her eyes widen. As aspected, she isn’t buying it; but thankfully Jeremy interfered.
“Come on, have lunch with us, and you will realize that we aren’t as bad as you thought.” Jeremy said, and pulled out a seat for her; and for a countryside champion, she was too slow. She fell in the trap and intended to seat; but Jeremy drew the seat farther making her fall to the ground.
“Argh…”. She screamed, and shot us a glare; while everyone at the cafeteria got alarmed and started to gather.
“Ouch, that must hurt, sorry. My bad.” Jeremy said, and aimed to help her up but she hit his hand away.
“Get away from me, if you guys think you can bully me, you got the wrong person.” She lashed, and stood up.
“I’m trying to get along with you, but you are being so hard on us. Well, allow me have a slip from your drink.” I said, and took the strawberry drink on her tray; while she glared at me. “Why are you so mean?” I whined. “Well… you can have your drink. I’ll just buy mine.” I added, and pour the drink on her; while my friends laughed evilly before we left.
“You won’t get away with this.” She threatened, as we left the cafeteria.
👤”Yuck, she isn’t even as strong as we thought she was.”
👤”She is just an empty barrel.”
👤”She should know better than getting on Alex bad side.”
We heard the student muttering words to themselves as we left the cafeteria.

📌KEISHA POV 📌
I went to the restroom, and tried to wash off the stain from my body, but there is no way that strawberry stain will leave easily. I’m not a fan of strawberry drink so heaven knows why I got it in the first place.
“Had I know, I would’ve just gotten water.” I muttered, and it occurred to me that I was already blaming myself when I did nothing wrong.
“You did nothing wrong Kei, they are the ones at fault, they are the ones who threw the drink at you.” My subconscious urged, and I agreed.
“Yuck, this is so embarrassing.” I almost cried. I’ve never been bullied in my life, no one even dares to bully me so this feeling is new to me.
I left the bathroom after confirming that the outside was clear. If today wasn’t my first day at school, I would have just go bucking off and skip classes for today; but being my first day, I can’t skip any class if I at least want a graduate with little good remarks.
I found my way to class trying to hid from the few students passing by when someone threw a shirt on me. I took the shirt and turned to see Chris retreating back.
“Oh, it’s the class president. Is he lending me his shirt?” I said in excitement and returned to the bathroom to change. The polo shirt might be a large size, but it’s m better than wearing a stained uniform. The shirt is just my style, I love my shirt bigger because I’m fond of stealing Kaye’s shirts.
“Oh, no. I’m really missing my cousin, I don’t think I can survive without him.” I cried.

I returned to class and met a teacher in - immediately I stepped in; the students all welcomed me with round of laughters.
“Who are you?” The teacher asked.
“That’s kinda rude.” I muttered, my voice barely audible.
“What did you just say?” He asked, his face twisted in anger.
“Did he heard that?” My subconscious asked, but I managed to compose myself. “I’m Keisha Hundus.”
“Who cares what your name is? How dare you barge into my class?” He shouted.
“This is my class, sir.” I fired back, and the whole class laughed.
“Did you just raised your voice at me?”
“You raised yours first. I’m a new transferred student, and this is my class.”
“So why are you dressed like that?”
“Well… Thanks to a particular person, my uniform is a mess, and I had to wear this.” I said, and eye-searched for Alex. Our gaze met, and I gave him a sign to indicate that I’ll klll him; taking the whole class aback.
“And what’s that about?” The teacher asked.
“It’s not for you sir, it’s for my hat£es.” I replied, and the teacher gave me a weird look before he dismissed me to my seat.
I glared at Alex and his disciples, before returning to my seat, thinking of the best way to get back at them.
