A novel of Dark Ties chapter 9
"It won't repeat myself, and if you make me do. I swear to gawd, I'll throw you into the transformer " She said sassily looking hot and guys d*ck plunged out of their pants.
Those who commented began going down on their knees and half of the students went down in fear of being thrown into the transformer.
Foxin smirked from where he was standing,a mischievous grin on his stone face.
Catalina was about to say something when Zoya stormed into the area, her eyes blazing with anger.
"What do you think you're doing, Catalina?" she yelled, her voice echoing through the night air.
Catalina, still standing in front of the crowd, looked drowsy and dizzy, her eyes unfocused. The rain trenched her badly. She tried to speak, but her words were stuck in her throat. It happens when she meets with Zoya.
Zoya's anger turned to outrage as she saw the students kneeling on the ground.
"You'll should get up now!!!" she yelled, her voice piercing through the air.
The students, sensing Zoya's authority, quickly stood up, their faces sheepish. Two guys rushed to untie Indigo and her friends' hair from the transformer, freeing them from their uncomfortable position.
Zoya's eyes flashed with anger as she turned to the crowd.
"Now, everyone, go inside your dorms," she ordered, her voice brooking no argument.
The students quickly dispersed, hurrying back to their dorms as Zoya turned to Catalina.
" And you, you're doing this because of a comment?" she sneered.
"Then you're a fool." She further said With a dismissive glance, Zoya pulled out her phone and went to the school blog. Her fingers flew across the screen as she typed out a comment.
"Golddigger, poor bitçh," she posted, a cruel smile spreading across her face.
She looked one more time at Catalina, her eyes filled with contempt, before turning and walking away. The rain, which had been pouring down just moments before, had stopped, leaving behind an eerie silence.
As Zoya disappeared into the night, a notification popped up on the school blog, alerting Catalina to a new comment. She stumbled forward, her eyes fixed on the screen, and saw Zoya's hurtful words staring back at her. The comment cut deep, and Catalina felt a wave of pain and humiliation wash over her. She stood there, frozen, as the reality of Zoya's cruelty sank in.
Ravenna and Jaxon rushed to her and she broke down in tears.
"They humiliated me first" She sobbed and Ravenna hugged her patting her back gently.
"C'mon baby girl, don't let Zoya's comments get into you. She's just a lonely freak" Jaxon smiled and Ravenna looked at him.
"Wow! I thought you were in support of them before?" Ravenna scoffed and rolled eyes.
"Not after she just humiliated my baby" Jaxon said and she hissed.
"Thanks guys" Catalina smiled and they walked in.
~~~~~~~~~~~NEXT DAY ~~~~~~~~~
Jaxon, Ravenna and Catalina walked through the school hallway. Morning class has been cancelled.
They planned on going to the cafeteria for breakfast before preparing for their classes at noon.
As Catalina, Ravenna, and Jaxon walked through the crowded hallway, the atmosphere suddenly shifted. Whispers and snickers began to circulate among the students, and Catalina's eyes scanned the sea of faces, her heart sinking.
At first, it was just a few murmured comments, but soon the insults and jeers grew louder and more brazen.
"Slut
"What a ho!"
Bitçh!
I heard she's a poor brat!.
That's why she wanted to seduce death and make him fall for her cus he's rich.
The words cut deep, and Catalina's face burned with shame and embarrassment.
Ravenna's eyes flashed with anger as she stepped forward, her voice rising above the din.
"Hey, back off! Leave her alone!" But her words only seemed to fuel the fire, and the insults continued to rain down on Catalina.
Jaxon's face darkened, his jaw clenched in frustration. He moved closer to Catalina, his arm brushing against hers in a silent show of support.
"Just ignore them, .They're just trying to get a rise out of you." He whispered and she nodded.
But it was hard to ignore the hurtful words, especially when they seemed to be coming from every direction. Catalina's eyes began to well up with tears as she quickened her pace, desperate to escape the toxic atmosphere.
A group of students from the school's soccer team, who had been watching the scene unfold, began to chant, "Catalina, Catalina, she's a mess! She can sleep with the whole team, if she wants to touch death lips we guess!" The hallway erupted into a cacophony of laughter and catcalls, and Catalina's face crumpled.
Ravenna and Jaxon exchanged a furious glance, and then Ravenna stepped forward, her voice ringing out across the hallway.
"That's enough! You're all just a bunch of hypocrites, talking trash about someone you don't even know. Leave her alone, or you'll have to answer to me!"
The hallway fell silent, with all eyes on Ravenna. For a moment, it seemed like the insults might stop, but then a voice from the back of the crowd shouted
"Or what, Ravenna? You'll beat us up? You think you're tough" indigo laughed with her minions behind her.
Ravenna's eyes narrowed, and she took a step forward, her fists clenched. Jaxon grabbed her arm, holding her back.
"Ravenna, don't. It's not worth it."
But the damage was already done. Catalina's eyes were streaming with tears, and she felt like she was going to collapse.
Indigo went infront of Catalina and slapped her twice.
"You dare tie me to the transformer Last night. You don't know what you've brought upon yourself bitçh" She pushed her and Catalina fell hurting her knees in the process.
Indigo was about grabbing Catalina's hair when Ravenna pushed her away.
With a sob, Catalina turned and ran, disappearing into the crowd, leaving Ravenna and Jaxon to deal with the fallout.
~~~~~~~~
Ravenna stormed down the hallway, her eyes scanning the crowds of students for any sign of Catalina. She had been searching for her friend for what felt like hours, but so far, she had come up empty-handed. She turned a corner, heading towards the library, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of Catalina's safety.
As she rounded the corner, she failed to notice a tall figure standing in her path. She bumped into him, her books and papers flying out of her hands.
"Watch where you're going, rascal!" she exclaimed, her anger and frustration boiling over.
The person she had bumped into,was Eric he stood infront of her tall, with his messy brown hair and piercing brown eyes, scoffed at her.
"A little sorry won't hurt a bit," he said, rolling his eyes.
Ravenna's anger flared, and she was about to walk away when Eric grabbed her arm. She yanked it away, her eyes flashing with annoyance.
"What?!" she glared at him.
Eric, looked at her with a curious expression.
"Catalina is your friend, right?" he asked, his voice casual.
"Yeah, why?" she asked, her tone dripping with skepticism.
Eric's eyes locked onto hers, and he said.
"You can at least give me some info about her." He said.
Ravenna burst into laughter it was so loud and mocking that for a moment, Eric wondered if she was mad.
He just asked a question!.
"Don't tell me you're crushing on her, you pervert!" she exclaimed, she furrowed her brows and narrowed her eyes making it clear that she didn't believe him.
Eric's face turned red, and he stammered. "Why...why would I do that, huh? I just
wanted..."
