"He's a jêrk!" Mae çürsêd over the phone.

I sniffle "Ofcourse he is."

"And you are stupid!"

"What? Why?”

"Why did you let yourself fall for him?”

“Because you gave me hope. You said I could make him fall for me."

"You are not blaming me,are you?" She ask

"Ofcourse I am. You pushed me and now you _"

"Oh god Alexa,I only said you could make him love you .”

"That counts as hope."

“oh jeez!"

“Mae!” came the bark of her playboy boss again “Seems you have free time to call your boyfriend so you are rolling one million papers and signing them all and when you are done, make me coffee. You have 30 minutes to get it all done."

"What? I am not a fvçkîñg robot!" She snarl 

"29 minutes left."

"Ugh,I hate you."

"28 minutes,53 seconds left .”

I end the call myself. Seems Mae have a problem of her own right now so am left to deal with my problem myself. But it's kind of annoying you seek your friend out for a solution to your problem only to learn she has a problem more than yours.

I sigh.

“Mikhail Marco appears in public with his model girlfriend Maria Martinez. The both couples were spotted kîssíñg in the high table ”

Staring at the picture of Mikhail and my mum kissing,a silent tears roll down my cheeks. I swipe it off 

The door suddenly opens and his bïtçhy assistant came in "Time for the check up."

I nod , slowly getting off the bed already dressed in a red sleeveless bodycon.

I put my slippers on as i came down.

“Do you honestly think you could have your way by getting pregnant?” she smirk, leaning against the door frame,her arms folded as I walk towards her.

I stop in front of her "What's your problem with me? ”

“You are a nobody." She snorts walking off and I followed her seething though she's right.

But what if am pregnant already? Will I be able to keep Mikhail then? I place my palm on my stomach. Will be accept to keep the child if I disagree?

“The blood sample has been taken to the lab but the result will take atleast two days.”

"Alright doc. " She throws me a glare "Just take your time."

He nod cutly before leaving. 

She turn to me with her usual bitchy look ,her lips stretched into a smirk “You really think Mikhail will change his mind because you are pregnant?"

Her gaze drops to my stomach  and my palm shot up to my stomach in defense to her look of contempt.

She sneer “And that is if you are really pregnant."

I gulp "Um..since we are done with the test. Can I leave then?"

"Tell me Alexa?" She ask closing the distance between us “were you honestly thinking of having Mikhail's child."

She take a strand of my hair between her two fingers and toy with them,her venomous eyes never leaving mine as she leaned her face closer “Do you honestly think  a pretty little thing like you could become Mrs. Marco?”

I shift back “Listen,I honestly don't get why you hate me but please spare me. I'm only bound by contract and in a month I will be out of his life."

She snorts “You think you have a choice to leave his life?”

I stare at her incredulous. What will I ever say to her to make leave me be? To make her understand I never thought of all she's accusing me of.

"Mikhail' belongs to Ms. Lisa and she will back in a month. Once she's back. You will realize you are nothing but a whørê" She spat.

I blink back my tears. Why are the tears coming in the first place? It's probably because of the unknown Lisa whom his heart belongs to 

I turn to leave, exhausted and broken. I just need a time alone to regain myself.

“Did I ask you to leave?" I wince as she caught my wrist and spun me around to face her. Her face twisted in a snarl.

“You don't walk out on me,you good for nothing whørê!” she snarl.

“Let go." I twist my wrist to get it out of her grasp but she's stronger.

They are always stronger than me. Everyone is stronger than me. Maria,my dad,my stepmom,Grace,Lisa, Cindy, Mikhail, everyone!

My tears pour as I break into sobs recalling how hopeless, alone, rejected and broken I am.

She frees my wrist staring at me in contempt “What a cry baby."

“YES! I AM A CRY BABY! CAN YOU LET ME GO NOW!" I scream in anguish.

She stared at me stunned, shocked by my sudden outburst.

“Please you don't shout here." Said a nurse "This is an hospital."

I nod, sniffling as I wipe my tears with the back of my hand.

“Do you have to be a drama queen?" She spat.

“Alexa!" Came the roar of maria. I turn her way to see her storming towards me 

Pak!

I cried out in shock,my palm instantly moving up to cover my cheek. My face tilted to  the side as I stared at her stunned.

"You good for nothing whørê! How dare you think of getting pregnant?!" She snarl,her face twisted,eyes bloodshot.

I felt a lump  in my throat with tears streaming down my face, my chest aching . It hurts too much. I am bleeding internally, everywhere. It hurts when you are hated when you never called for it.

“Relax Maria,” his bitchy assistant cooed "the result isn't out yet."

“But that doesn't change the fact she tried to!" Maria scrowled as she takes out something from her bag.

“I can't wait for the result to come out so she's doing a urine test." She States taking the urine test cassette out from her bag.

“ That sounds like a good idea ”.says his assistant.

“Come," Maria got a hold of my wrist and drag me along with her towards a direction

"W.. where are you taking me to?" I ask,my voice trembling, struggling to meet up with her pace.

She glare at me “To get the test done.”

FEW MINUTES LATER ~

Right now am outside the lobby, waiting for Maria to come with the result.

“Just pray to God you are not pregnant because if you are,you'll løōsê  your child and everything." His bitchy assistant said.

I place my palm on my stomach again. Baby are you here? Am I really pregnant? Will I be able to keep you? Do I want to keep you?

"How was it Maria?" She asked snapping me back to realize Maria is back.

“She's not pregnant." Maria announced with a smug smile.

My lips part slightly. I'm not pregnant? But why do I feel disappointed? 

“Good." His assistant heaves “Just warn her. Such incident mustn't repeat itself again but we will still wait for the blood result as well."

“Sure.” Maria grinds out,her murderous set of  eyes fixed on me.

“I will be waiting for her in the car while you have a good talk with her.” she said before walking away.

Maria turns fully to me “Nice try Alexa. Nice one."

“Why do you håtê me so much?" I ask,my chest clenching with more pain ,my vision blur with tears.

She stare at me surprised. Probably taken aback by my question.

“Just tell me why you hate me. Aren't you my mother." I sounded broken with my tears pouring.

She snicker “You want to know the reason why I hate you?"

I nod 

“Because you ruined my biggest dream.” She cried out ,“You coming into the picture ruined my life and not just that,you also had to look beautiful. You had everyone's attention. I left you because I was sick of people always staring at you instead of me. You snatched my dream and yet snatched everyone's attention from me! Maria your daughter is beautiful. Maria can your daughter replace you as our model. Maria your daughter is beautiful goddess I WAS SICK OF HEARING IT ..."

"So I left and everything has been going smoothly in my life but you just had to come into Mikhail's life. I won't let you Alexa. Never."

I stare. No,I gawk at her. I am speechless. You know why? Because she sounded incredulous.“I..is that why you håtê me?"

“YES."

“Just because you are prettier than her?!" Mae shrieks over the phone. 

I nod, taking my sit on the bed. I sigh heavily “Yes.”

“Jeez,what kind of a mother is she?”

I breathed heavily “The good thing is am not pregnant."

"Yeah,you are not so you still have the chance to make something out of your life.”

I nod.

“Or will you cancel the deal with Mikhail?"

Cancel the deal with him? Am I ready to do that?

“Oh damñ. I forgot you are bounded by a contract so you can't just get out of it but you can take advantage of the situation. You can just further your studies and...”

“He said that would only happen if we extend the deal.”

“Holy shît .”

I shrug 

“Fine,then extend it ."

I gasp “What?"

“Why sound shocked? You already made the deal,gave him a lot so you can't just come out with nothing. I know you are already inlove with him but I will advice you to kill your feelings for him. Let him extend the deal so you can get something. Opportunity comes but once. This is your golden ticket, Alexa. Don't tell me you want to return to the street?”

I sigh in defeat "You are right.”

“Good,you are no longer iññøçêñt anyways, so just get something.”

“MAE!"

"Dãmñ,who is shouting your name?"

“My pêrvertêd  boss. I am coming."

“okay,just be careful.” I told her as she hanged up. What's this man's problem? He's always being mean to her. Jêrk.

Letting out a deep breath,I walk towards the window. Standing in front of the window,I sigh. Staring at the dark sky with stars glistening like diamonds,wondering when he'd be back.

What is he doing right now? Who is he with? Will I be able to get rid of my feelings for him?

But one thing is certain,I am addicted to him and right now am missing him. I missed him inside me. He've made addicted to him. Addicted to his c*ck,to séx  because right now,I miss having sèx with him.

What else do you expect? I can't possibly remain innocent after dealing with a mafia boss. It's not possible.

Grace's POV~

“Grace," 

“Yes mum," I lift my gaze off my phone to her as she walk into my room.

“Have you heard from Alexa?"

I frown. I hate that name “No." I said coldly. “Why will I hear from her?"

“Why the tone?"

“You know I haté  her mom. ”

She sigh walking over . "Oh Grace," caressing my hair she sigh and I pout “I just wanted to learn how miserablè she've become.”

I smirk “You know Alexa will always be miserablè. She might be somewhere begging or crying or probably dêãd."

“ hahahaha." She laughed 

“Yes mum..she must be rüìñed  by now .She hasn't come to college. What am I even saying? I don't think she've even gotten a house to stay. Poor Alexa."

She chuckled “Okay that's enough,let's talk about Lisa. When is she coming back?I hope she understands Mikhail is man so she has to return fast before he gets snatched.”

“I already spoke to her about that. But you know how stubborn Lisa can be. She insisted she has him wrapped around her fingers so there's no way she can loose him and she will return in a month when she's done with her final year.”

“That girl." She shake her head with a helpless sigh.

My thoughts drifts back to Alexa and I smirk in content. Alexa must be rüìñed right now and that's my greatest joy. Poor Alexa
