Anovel of crazy monaliza chapter 47 by summer's spark

Lisa walked out of the hospital, her feet carrying her forward on autopilot.

Her mind was a million miles away, lost in a sea of thoughts and emotions.

She feels like she's floating in the sky!!!

She bumped into people on the sidewalk, but they might as well have been ghosts.

She didn't register their presence nor did she acknowledge their scolding words.

Her hands dangled limply beside her, her arms swinging with each step.

Her eyes stared blankly ahead, unfocused and unseeing, glassed with unshed tears.

She didn't notice the people rushing to and fro, didn't hear the cacophony of sounds that filled the air.

As she walked, the sidewalk gave way to a highway with Cars whizzing by, their headlights casting a blur of light and color.

Lisa didn't flinch, didn't react.

She just kept walking, her feet carrying her forward with a momentum all their own.

And then, without warning, the skies opened up and Rain came pouring down, drumming against the pavement and sending rivulets of water streaming across the highway.

Lisa didn't even raise her hands to shield her face.

She just kept walking, the rain pounding against her like a physical force.

A car screeched to a halt behind her, its headlights flashing madly as the driver laid on the horn.

Lisa didn't react.

She just kept walking, her eyes fixed at some point ahead.

The car door swung open, and Scott stepped out into the rain.

He was holding an umbrella, which he quickly opened and held over Lisa's head.

He stared at her intently, his eyes filled with concern and worry.

Lisa bit her lip, and suddenly she burst into tears.

racking sobs that shook her entire body.

Scott quickly rushed towards her, scooping her into his arms and holding her close.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, holding on tightly as she sob harder against his chest.

Scott didn't say a word.

He just held her, letting her cry out all the pain and emotion that might have been building up inside.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Lisa's sobs began to subside slowly.

Scott slowly walked towards the car, holding her close as he went.

He opened the passenger door and gently placed her inside, shutting the door behind her, folded the umbrella and tossed it to the back seats.

He walked around to the driver's side, getting in and starting the engine.

As he pulled away from the curb, Lisa lay back in her seat, her eyes closed and her body exhausted.

Scott drove in silence, his eyes flicking towards her every now and then to make sure she was okay.

The rain continued to fall outside, drumming against the roof of the car and creating a soothing background noise.

Lisa's eyelids began to droop, and she felt herself drifting off into a deep and dreamless sleep......
