After much persuasion Rheagar was able to take Kaira back to the room, he made her seat but she wouldn't let him go.
"I know what I saw rheagar!" it kept replaying in her head like a tap, same thing over and over again.
"Nothing of the such is going to happen kaira, I'm here now, you need to calm down please" he sighed, he soothed her back repeatedly till he felt her ease up a little.
"Come lay back now, it was just a nightmare nothing more" He told her making her lay on the bed, he could still feel her grip on his hand.
"Nothing will happen kaira,believe me, our baby is here, and soon she'll be with us no one will take her away" He touched her stomach, smiling at her.
He saw her smile finally getting the assurance of her child still in her womb.
"Nothing will happen, those who wanted to harm us are gone now " she tried staying positive.
"Exactly, and everything is fine so don't be sacred okay" he patted her hair.
He stood and walked to the other side,joining her in the bed, he pulled her close to him as she placed her head on his chest.
"And I'm here who would dare harm you?" He said to her.
"it felt so real rheagar..." she shut her eyes in fear holding his shirt tight again.
"but it's not, that's why it's just a dream, you were exposed to so much stress today it just added to it so don't think about anymore, it's not real" he muttered, stroking her hair softly.
Finally she fell back into slumber, her eyes had weared out with so much crying and his soft comfort she just had to sleep.
He sighed cleaning the trace of tears in her eyes "No damn curse can work on you kaira, not while I'm alive " he kissed her hair, he breathed out stroking her soft hair slowly till he finally closed his eyes too.
~ NEXT MORNING ~
Rheagar opened his eyes briefly as the bright sun came into the room, that's what he suffered having a room on the east side of the Palace, getting to have the sun first shine as it came.
His eyes went down to see her still fast asleep ,looking so innocent and beautiful as ever. she had that natural clear skin and bright eyes to capture any man's heart, he starred down at the coutures on her lips ,moist and ravishing inviting him for a peck, he leaned in pecking them softly not to wake her but seeing the smile on her face He knew she was awake.
"Why did you stop?" She mumbled her eyes still closed.
"I didn't want to wake up" he smiled moving her hair backward.
"Did it work?" She said ,he chuckled pushing her down ,coming on top her,he kissed her hungrily as she ran her hand around his hair,soft and curly.
"Sweet" she grinned as he broke the kiss, he touched her lips combing her hair out.
"Beautiful" he admired her facials, he arched his brows smirking at her .
"what?" She asked .
"You've grown more beautiful than when we first met you know, like you're glowing over the top!" he grinned ,her cheeks turned red in blush.
"I married the most beautiful girl in the land ,am I not lucky?" he smiled capturing her heart.
"And I'm lucky to have such a handsome husband like you, my very first and last love" She said from her heart ,her voice held so much emotion for him.
"You deserve more kisses" he kissed her again, and again and again, making her laugh and giggle hard.
"Stop!" She laughed pushing him off, she sat up facing him.
"About last night.." She remembered everything.
"Nothing about last night, it was all a bad dream and you woke up from it" he sat up also starring at her.
"Thank you" she shot him a smile.
"Oh just kill me!" He held his chest falling back into the bed.
"If you keep smiling like this I might die soon" He teased making her laugh.
"Rheagar!!!" He gave her butterflies in her belly.
"I wish i could just shout to the whole world HEY WORLD, KAIRA IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND STRONGEST AND BRAVEST AND COURAGEOUS LETS NOT FORGET AUDACIOUS QUEEN I'VE EVER KNOWN!" He was literally shouting loud, she covered his mouth immediately in shock.
"What is wrong with you?!" She chuckled at his behaviour.
"Making you laugh" he muffled .
she paused removing her hands "Don't stop if not I'll tickle you" he sat up again.
"Don't please, I'm sensitive to that", she admitted.
"oh wow ,sassy queen has a weakness" he touched her once in her waist and she jecked up.
"Don't!" she glared at him.
"Watch me!" He tickled her again this time making her scream out.
He continued tickling her as she laughed falling back to the bed "Stop it please" she couldn't control the laughter as he kept tickling her at the right spot.
"Please please, my ribs please!" She screamed finally making him stop.
she breathed in calming her nerves "Thank you"she smiled down at him.
"Always know I'm here for you kaira, forever!" he took her hand in his.
"Forever is a long time you know!" she chuckled.
"We just began !" he kissed her hands, pulling her up ,he stood picking her into his arms.
"I still have lots of plans for us, one in progress many more to come" he smirked .
"Gawwddd!!!!" She hit him hard on the chest.
He just chuckled, walked them into the bathroom.
~QUEEN JEZEBEL CHAMBERS ~
The maids gasped in horror at what they saw, It was Queen Jezebel laying on the floor DEAD!.
King balem rushed in due to the noise , he sighed seeing her their.
No one dared step forward so he did touching her neck he knew she had killed her self the bottle of poison was laying right next to her.
"Oh jezebel what did you do?" He mumbled.
"Inform the royal advisers ,the queen has killed herself", he ordered.
"I need to tell rheagar myself" he left the place heading straight to his chambers ,his guards followed behind him.
"Your majesty, his grace is here!" the guard on post knocked on the door, in an instant rheagar opened the door stepping out.
"Good morning grandfather " he bowed in respect.
"I had to come tell you myself kiddo, your mother killed herself" King balem dropped to him.
An emotional that never came for a second came at the moment, his eyes flickered in dis believe of what he heard .
"Mother??" His voice broke down ,it felt as his heart stopped for a second "My mother?" he asked in fear to be sure.
"She took in poison rheagar, she couldn't handle losing her power so she took her own life" King balem muttered sadly.
He immediately walked out rushing to her Chambers he pushed them all aside setting eyes on her,she was still there laid on the floor lifeless.
"Mom.." The tears came , he knelt beside her holding her hand.
"Why did you do it?, just a little punishment you ended your life , I know I was mad at you but why did you do this!" he broke down drastically in tears.
Kaira rushed in as she heard from King balem, she knew best not to go to him.
After enough crying he finally stopped cleaning them off "What should we do grandfather?" he faced the man.
"We'll plan her burial my boy ,don't be sad I'm still here for you" King balem consoled pulling him up.
"She deserves it though " Phoenix scoffed In there.
"Are you alright she's his mother after everything, she brought him into this world " kaira answered her.
"Whatever " the wolf uttered.
Kaira moved closer to rheagar taking his hands "Its going to be fine, she's in a better place with your father" she muttered.
"He won't even accept her" Phoenix snorted.
"She did bad things to you kaira, but she's my mother I didn't want her to die" he said to her.
"Its not your fault rheagar, she did it on her own free will, but you'll do good by her ,perform heart rights as queen of Thageran, she should have a goodburial even though....." she stopped her words.
"she doesn't deserve it right?" he completed it for her.
"yes" she mumbled, her voice low with remorse on her answer but she had said it already.
"But you should just to pay respect to her soul, she's your mother after all" she added .
"Kaira is right ,it's your choice rheagar we can't turn a blind eye to jezebel crimes but she gave you life, we owe her only that " King balem stated.
"Make known of the queen's death to everyone, But she won't be buried in the Palace instead she will be sent to her kingdom for the final rights not here " Rheagar stated after much thinking.
"Very well then" King balem nodded.
The guards came in, picked her body on the carrier and took her out of the place .
"Let's leave" Kaira held his hand, he nodded slowly walking out of the place with her.
the deed had Been done and nothing could change it.
"I have to see the royal counsel now, I'll be back " He muttered after they walked some paths.
"Oh okay, I'll wait for you" she smiled, he kissed her forehead and smiled walking away.
she sighed briefly watching him leave ,no doubt he was sad but there was nothing she could do other than comfort him.
defeatedly she headed to her room to get her mind off the whole thing.
"My queen" a maid walked up to her.
"The king has asked us to prepare your breakfast what would you have us make?" She bowed.
"I really don't have an appetite but I would like some juice, apple juice" kaira said, the girl nodded and walked away.
She opened the door stepping in to heave another sigh "will you stop that?" Phoenix groaned.
"Rheagar's sad and its making me feel sad too" she mumbled ,her whole expression was pale due to that, she pulled out the chair and sat sighing once again.
"He'll get over it soon ,just give him time you'll see and you're here for him he can't be sad forever " Phoenix said.
"You're right though,I can't believe she killed herself just like that, her obsession got the better of her, I can't imagine" kaira stated.
~ ROYAL KITCHEN ~
Thalion appeared into the Palace with his magic, he immediately hid himself seeing guards come his way, he stood behind the pillar watching keenly at what was going on in the kitchen.
"The Queen has asked for apple juice,please fetch the apples" the maid said to the other.
He watched them crush the apples add water and extracted the rich liquid from it, she poured it into a cup and placed it on the tray ready to leave.
He smirked opening his palm revealing the tiny bottle of poison he had.
"There's no way I can get in there" he thought to himself , thinking of an Idea, he used his magic drawing out the content and directed it straight into the cup.
The maid turned hearing something drop but as she saw nothing she picked the tray and headed out.
"In less than 5 minutes after consuming that,she'll feel the pain of her insides tearing ,faint and by the time she wakes up the child would have died, no one can even save her now" he smirked ,his plan was well thought of and ready to be executed.
The maid walked straight to kaira's room, she almost reached when someone dumped into her.
"no!!" Thalion almost screamed as the cup was about falling but the maid caught it immediately.
",I'm so sorry!" The maid apologised walking away immediately.
The one with the tray sighed in relief she continued her journey and stopped knocking on the door.
"My queen your juice is here!" she said.
"come in please " she heard kaira's voice ,she opened the door and stepped in.
She dropped the tray on table as kaira picked the cup immediately, her eyes glittered sniffing the nice scent.
"Thank you so much " she smiled at the girl ,she took the cup to her lip sipping the sweet taste it brought ,she gulped down a lot in one go lavishly.
"You really like apples my queen!" The maid chuckled at her.
"What can I say, listen can you make me this very morning ,I know you're not my personal maid but if you could!" Kaira said.
"Of course my queen I will do that for you,its my honor" she bowed.
"You don't need to bow every time well when we're Alone you don't have to okay?" kaira smiled at her.
"alright my queen" she bowed again, kaira laughed at that.
Her laughter hung up in the middle as she felt that sharp sudden pain in her stomach, it came in once but then It came again this time more hard.
"ah!" she held her stomach,it felt like her insides were been pierced with a really sharp object.
"My queen are you alright?" the maid rushed to her seeing her face squeeze.
Kaira breathed out trying to stand but it topped making her scream ,something was tearing her from the inside.
She held the table shaking as these sudden pain increased, it was everywhere around her stomach and each time she tried moving it would increase.
"Rheagar!" she panicked in screams holding her stomach tight, something was happening to her, her whole body tensed up and before she knew what was happening she lost consciousness falling to the ground, blood came out of her nose after that.
Rheagar rushed into room immediately, he halted for a split second seeing kaira lay unconscious.
"Kaira?" he touched her cheeks profusely but she wasnt waking up, the blood in her nose kept coming out.
"what happened to her?!!!" He growled at the maid who saw standing by the door in fear.
"I don't.. .I don't know your majesty!" she was sacred already, rheagar picked kaira in his arms taking her to the bed.
"she was fine when I left her so you better tell me what happened here!" He shouted at the girl.
"she..she asked for juice then I brought it to her ,I don't know what happened she was having the juice when she suddenly screamed out!" She narrated all she knew
"Call the physician right now!!" she rushed out in panick.
"Open your eyes kaira ,please!" He kept rubbing her hand, but she didn't come through.
"What happened rheagar?" King balem Stepped in
"She's not waking up grandfather, she just juice and I don't know what else happened " their was fear in his tone, his face recked panic and worry for her.
King balem sighed "the physician has been called she'll be fine don't worry" he tried easing his tension.
He eyes caught the cup on the table and he walked picking it up,he studied the cup then sniffed in the remaining content.
"elf magic?" he said in a whisper ,now it was his turn to panic.
The physician came in that point "Please check her nana, I don't know what happened to her" Rheagar said to her, she nodded walking close to kaira,she sat on the bed first taking her hand to check her pulse.
"This is a catastrophe" she sighed sadly she touched the blood on her nose and sniffed it in.
"The Queen has been poisoned" she realised it.
"Poisoned how?!" Rheagar asked in shock and in fear.
"The elfs rheagar, they did this" King balem told him.
"By the effect it had on her...I fear..the queen has an a miscarriage!" Nana dropped the words making the whole place dead cold.
