A novel of Day Breaker's chapter 22
"You have 2 minutes Drake lugard !!" Donovan yelled.
"They're here for black carnary!" Rocco stated.
"We'll take them out then!" Drake uttered, he faced Aurora still pissed off.
"Get out of the way ab..aurora!" he moved to her.
"Please let me help, I can talk to them please ,just give me one chance !" she pleaded.
"Please Drake" she had to try something.
his hard gaze finally softened for a second .
"I will trust you for one last time aurora not for anything but for disha, only her!" he stated, she breathed out in relief.
"I have an idea!" she said ,they gathered around her listening in.
"Donovan ,Aurora Is with them we should get her out first!!" harison told him holding his gun firm
"Well get her but first we need that disk, surround the whole building!!" he ordered, his men nodded running back to circulate but then the war began ,drake's men weren't backing down, bullets flying everywhere intensely.
"Disha, disha?!" Rianna yelled rushing into the room, they hadn't reached there yet.
she looked around but her daughter wasn't there.
"Disha!!!" she screamed.
She stopped hearing a knock from the wardrobe, she hurriedly ran opening it to see her hiding there.
"I heard gunshots Mommy!" disha muttered
"Come come !" rianna hugged her, she pictured the worse thing ever.
"You're not hurt right, Don't be sacred baby it's nothing" she muttered.
"I'm not sacred Mommy, I don't want anybody to die!" disha said.
"You're my brave girl, nothing will happen and no one will die okay, but you..you stay here don't come out please and don't open to anyone only open when you hear my voice, please disha don't step out I beg of you!" she held her hands tight .
"I won't Mommy I promise!" disha said, she wasn't as sacred as she expected .
"I'll be back, just stay, I love you" rianna kissed her head closing the door as disha stayed still.
she walked to her cupboard pulling out her silver gun, same as that of drake's.
"Donovan!" Aurora called ,she came out coming to him.
"Lower your gun!!" he ordered setting eyes on her.
Immediately they lowered their gun immediately.
"Where is Drake aurora?" He asked giving her space.
"Donovan listen to me first, please call your men off I am fine and I didn't get black carnary, they couldn't complete it!" she tried convincing him she moved closer but he raised his gun to her.
"they have it aurora and we want it!" he snapped.
"Please Donovan call your men off, I don't want anyone to die!!" she kept begging him.
"Oh I see,you've changed sides right you're on their side!" he stated .
"No no, I am the same aurora please we can't just badge into their home , black carnary isn't with them!!" she said,she tried moving again but with his gun still pointed at her she stood.
"I'm sorry Aurora I'm not leaving without black carnary!,take her!" he ordered them.
"Donovan!" Harrison yelled ,two men caught hold of Aurora immediately.
"What is this Donovan!!" Aurora screamed.
"You see Aurora... I knew this would happen I had a feeling you would betray us!" he walked to her.
"Let go of me!" she struggled they took out ther gun putting on her head.
"I didn't betray you Donovan tell the commissioner I did as he asked ,but black carnary isn't here!" She still said the same thing.
"Liar!" he punched her stomach.
"it's no longer about the team right? it's personal to you!" she uttered.
"Getting black carnary means more than you know aurora, when I have it I'll tell you what it holds!" he smirked.
"You forget Donovan, I'm more intelligent than your little brain can reason, Sorry for you!" she bent her head and two bullets went straight for the men holding her.
she did a back-flip kicking him hard with her legs, landing on her feet immediately.
Donovan groaned raising his gun but the lights went out immediately.
sparks of bullets could be seen as men fell to the floor in shock.
The lights came back on and Drake gun was placed on Donovan head.
His team already took down assasin crib.
"You dared to step into my empire unannounced isn't it pleasant?!" He said pressing the gun on his skull.
"You bastard !!" Donovan yelled.
"This bastard is going to blow your f*cking skull off!!" Drake shot.
"What should we do to them boss?!" Clara asked pointing her gun at Harrison.
"You move you die!" Isadora told the gun she held.
Antonio, phoenix and lorenzo took care of the ones outside.
"Where is aurora?!" Donovan asked.
"I'm here Donovan!" she was there standing in his back.
Drake still had his grip of the trigger ready to pull at any time.
"You traitor!" He frowned.
"I didn't betray you Donovan, I just had to stop this, They have you out numbered, please just leave, Drake let him go !" she sighed.
"And this !" she actually held a USB in her hand.
"That's the encryption of black carnary!!" Rocco gasped.
"how did you get that?!" Drake had to ask.
"I took it when the lights went out, this is what you both want right , but Donovan you will tell me what it is first !" she said.
"Are you bargaining now?!" Donovan snapped.
"Lower your voice!" Drake uttered.
"They stole this from star labs, our head quarters and lucho he stole this from the military base ,so why would we have this?!" she narrowed her gaze to him.
"I don't know!" He shouted.
"Then I can give it to Drake then!" she moved to them
"No no...wait !" he panicked.
"We had a deal aurora !, I keep black carnary ,I let your people go!" Drake reminded her
"Here, I always keep my word" she handed it to him.
Immediately they let go of them....
"She kept her word" isadora muttered.
"I've been living in blood shed for 8 years ,and I'm tired, please call your men off Donovan please!" She said honestly.
"Guns down!" he told them.
"Throw it away!" Drake added,they did as told instantly
"Aurora!" she turned to where it came from.
A masked man held rianna at gun point dragging her down the stairs.
"Let go of her!!" Drake raised his gun again.
"Shoot, go on shoot!" The man said ,he stopped still placing the gun at her head.
"Tell him to stop Donovan!" Aurora faced him.
The team had already backed off but this man got hold of Rianna.
"Drake!" rianna freaked out, she fought hard with this man but it still defeated her.
"I knew Donovan couldn't do it, so I had to come myself!" this man said.
"Who are you?" Donovan Asked also confused.
" Where's your daughter Rianna she's like seven now right ?" The man said to her.
" I will never tell you!!" she shot.
He smiled removing the mask and Aurora felt her soul leave her.
"Comm..commissioner?" They were beyond shocked.
"To you but to I prefer Felix gravewood" he stated.
"You, you killed my parents!!" Isadora immediately recognised the name, she held her gun up ready to fire.
"Dont pull it isa, hold on!" Drake stopped her, any mistake Rianna Would get shot.
"Sorry girl,I've killed to many people to remember who your parents are!" Commissioner vomited.
"So Aurora how are you?, I expected you to be died by now, then I heard you were still alive so I still sent someone but here you are!!" he laughed.
"You're a strong girl!" He commended.
"Now Drake, how are you ?" He faced him.
"Boss!" Lorenzo and Antonio rushed in.
"Hold it there!" commissioner fired up .
"You're very peculiar Drake, very Stubborn and adamant you completed black carnary wow!" He shook his head.
"but now I would like it back, I didn't mean to lose it but I want it back now!" He snapped.
"Let go of my sister motherf*cker!!" Drake shot!.
"Donovan you pathetic fool!" commissioner faced him with the gun holding rianna by the neck.
"Distract him while I get to the back" Lorenzo whispered to Antonio.
"Don't try it boys!" They left a gun on their head.
"Phoenix?!" They all gasped seeing her.
"Oh my darling Phoenix how do you like it Drake I had my spy right under your nose!" Commissioner smiled.
"How could you Phoenix, we took you as family!" Clara said shocked.
"I'm really sorry guys but what can i do , I had to play the obsessed lover girl card to distract you guys from my main work!" she shrugged.
"Now Drake will you give the disk or lose your sister!" He placed the gun on her head again.
"Don't give it to him Drake, don't!!" Rianna shook her head.
"Sir I am with you always!" Donovan changed sides he made to go to him but the man shot his leg down.
"I don't need you boy!" commissioner stated.
"Donovan!" Aurora rushed to him.
"I made a mistake Aurora, forgive me!" Donovan groaned holding his bleeding leg.
"Give it Drake or your sister gets it!" the bargain was still there.
"Fine have it!!" Drake threw it up gravewood eyes followed it giving rianna the opportunity to elbow his chest and run off.
"Come back here!" He made to hold her again but He got a bullet to his arm from isadora.
She ran straight to Drake instantly " You're fine you're fine now!" He held her.
"where's disha?" he whispered.
"She's hiding she's safe!" she told him relieved to be with him.
Lorenzo get signals to Antonio through his eyes, they moved at the same time holding Phoenix hands tight,they took the guns away from her holding her gun.
"who has the upper hand now bitch?!" Antonio snapped.
"Stop stop it !" Commissioner still held his gun.
"you really want to do this?!" Drake faced him.
"Mommy!!" Disha came running down the stairs.
Commissioner smirked turning his gun to her ,but aurora got to him raising his hand up.
"Let go Aurora !" He struggled with her.
"Aurora!" Drake made to shoot but he couldn't,he wasn't getting the aim.
In the drag Commissioner pulled the trigger and everything stopped.
Her face turned pale letting go of him, she staggered back feeling her blood drip out.
He shot her!".
"Abby!!!" Disha yelled.
Drake released All the bullets into his body in that moment ,as he walked he was shooting him till the bullet finished.
Before her body fell to the floor he rushed to her holding her.
"I'm...I'm...!" the words weren't forming.
he knelt placing her in his leg.
"Why did you do it why?!" He didn't know why tears came out from his eyes, he touched her chest ,his hands stained in her blood.
"Abby?!" Disha cried close to them.
"I'm.. fine disha, don't cry" Aurora muttered touching her cheek.
"It doesn't hurt" she smiled.
"Don't talk, call an ambulance anyone!!" Drake yelled, the whole place was cold seeing the pool of blood around aurora.
"I never meant...to deceive. .deceive you Drake...I wanted to ...to tell you.... I did...!" she fought hard to stay with them, she was drifting away as the bullet pierced into her to the back.
"Tell me now aurora, I'm here ,tell me!" He was losing it.
"I.. I love you..Drake.... your love changed the ides...idea I had of you...and you all... I..!" it hurt bad.
"Isa....isa...,rocco.... gia. .Gianna, you all....lorenzo....wait..." She coughed out more blood.
"Rianna ,disha is the best child ....she's.....mom!" she cried ,she saw her parents standing close to her.
"Come my darling!" she saw her father stretching his hand to her.
"I don't want to stay dad, .... I want to come to you..!" she stretched her hand to him.
"come..?!" Drake panicked hearing her words, she was delusional now.
"I miss.. .you...guys so...much, you left me alone...alone!" she was talking to them
Everyone got teary eyes as aurora struggled to stay.
"Then come to us Aurora we can all be together as one family!" she heard her mother say.
she smiled seeing them come to her ,she stretched her hand trying to reach them and she finally did..
Her eyes closed ,her hands dropping as her soul went to them.
"Aurora?, open your eyes ,aurora!" Drake shook her profusely but she wasn't moving.
"Drake!" Rianna sniffed in.
"She's died!"
