A novel of Dangerously yours chapter 31
The abandoned warehouse loomed before them, its crumbling facade a testament to the neglect and decay that had consumed it. Asher's eyes blazed with a fierce determination as he dragged Valtor towards the entrance, the latter struggling and kicking against the restraint.
As they stepped inside, the dimly lit interior seemed to swallow them whole. The air was thick with the scent of decay and rot, and the only sound was the creaking of old wooden beams. Asher's grip on Valtor's arm tightened, his fingers digging deep into the skin as he pulled him deeper into the warehouse.
"You hurt Isobel," Asher growled, his voice low and menacing.
"You think you can just waltz in and hurt the people I care about? You're wrong, Valtor. You're so wrong."
Valtor sneered, trying to twist free from Asher's grasp.
"You'll never get away with this, Asher. I'll make sure you pay for what you're doing."
Asher's laughter was cold and mirthless. "You're not in a position to make threats, Valtor. You're in a position to beg for mercy."
With a swift motion, Asher slammed Valtor against a nearby pillar, the impact sending shockwaves through the warehouse. Valtor's eyes widened as Asher's hands closed around his wrists, binding them together with a length of rusty wire.
"You're going to regret hurting Isobel," Asher whispered, his breath hot against Valtor's ear. "You're going to regret ever crossing me."
The first blow came without warning, Asher's fist crashing into Valtor's jaw with a sickening crunch. Valtor's head snapped back, his eyes rolling wildly as he tried to process the pain. But Asher didn't stop. He kept hitting, each blow landing with anger.
Valtor's face was a mess of blood and bruises, his eyes swelling shut as Asher's fists continued to rain down. But Asher didn't stop. He couldn't stop. Not until Valtor had paid for what he'd done to Isobel.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Asher stepped back, his chest heaving with exertion. Valtor hung limp, his body battered and broken. Asher's eyes narrowed, his gaze fixing on Valtor's right hand.
With a swift motion, Asher pulled out a knife, the blade glinting in the dim light. Valtor's eyes snapped open, a scream building in his throat as Asher's hand closed around his wrist.
"You're going to lose something precious, Valtor," Asher whispered, his voice dripping with malice.
"You're going to lose the thing that makes you, you."
The knife descended, its edge biting deep into Valtor's skin. Valtor's scream was like nothing Asher had ever heard before, a raw and animalistic sound that seemed to shred the air itself.
As the knife sliced through Valtor's fingers, Asher felt a sense of satisfaction, of justice being served. Valtor's right hand was now a mangled stump, the fingers lying on the ground like discarded trash.
Asher's eyes locked onto Valtor's, a cold and unyielding gaze that seemed to bore into the very soul.
"You'll never hurt anyone I care about again, Valtor. You'll never be able to hurt anyone, period."
"You monster, you're supposed to get revenge and now...."
"I know the truth Valtor, I'm not your son and mind you, you'll stay there until Isobel gets better and kill you herself"
As Asher turned to leave, Valtor's screams echoed through the warehouse, a haunting reminder of the price he'd paid for hurting Isobel. Asher didn't look back, his heart heavy with the knowledge of what he'd done. But he knew it was necessary. He knew it was justice.
BACK TO THE HOSPITAL
Isobel's eyes fluttered open, her gaze blurry and unfocused. She was met with the sterile smell of hospital disinfectant and the beeping of machines surrounding her. As she struggled to sit up, a sharp pain shot through her head, making her wince.
But it wasn't the pain that had her attention. It was the dream. The vivid, terrifying dream that had felt so real. In the dream, Asher had been hurting someone, his eyes blazing with a fierce determination. And then, she had seen Valtor's face, twisted in agony as Asher's fists rained down on him.
Isobel's heart was racing as she threw off the covers and swung her legs over the side of the bed. She was still trying to process the dream, but one thing was clear: she needed to find Asher.
With a surge of adrenaline, Isobel ripped the drips from her hand, wincing as the needle was pulled out. She didn't care about the pain or the hospital protocol. She just needed to get to Asher.
She stumbled out of the hospital room, her bare feet padding on the cold floor. The nurses and doctors and her friends rushed to stop her, but Isobel was too fast. She ran down the hallway, her hospital gown fluttering behind her.
As she burst through the hospital doors, the cool night air hit her like a slap in the face. Isobel didn't hesitate. She took off in a sprint, her feet pounding the pavement as she ran towards Asher's house.
The streets were empty and dark, the only sound being the pounding of her heart and the rustling of her hospital gown. Isobel didn't care. She just needed to get to Asher.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, she saw the familiar shape of Asher's house looming in the distance. Isobel's legs were trembling with exhaustion, but she pushed on, her heart driving her forward.
She burst through the front door, slamming it shut behind her.
She saw Asher and Sienna in the living room.
"You're not valtor's son Asher, Valtor killed his wife himself,Ren is innocent" Sienna said and her eyes widened.
"What?!!!" Tears began pouring from her eyes and Asher turned.
"Isobel! What are you doing here huh? You are supposed to be in the hospital" he spranged up.
"What did she just say?"
FLASH BACK
The darkness of the night seemed to press in around Valtor as he stood in the shadows, his eyes fixed on the small, innocent face of his baby.
Valtor's wife, Elara, slept peacefully in the next room, unaware of the horror that was about to unfold.
He crept into the nursery, his eyes adjusting to the dim light. The baby lay in its crib, sleeping soundly. Valtor's hands trembled as he reached out and gently lifted the baby out of the crib.
But he pushed the feelings aside, focusing on the task at hand. He carefully made his way to the door, the baby still clutched in his arms. As he reached the entrance, he turned to see his daughter, Sienna, standing in the doorway, her eyes wide with fear and confusion.
"Daddy, what's going on?" Sienna asked, her voice trembling.
Valtor's heart sank, but he knew he couldn't turn back now.
"Go back to bed, Sienna," he said, trying to keep his voice calm.
"Everything is fine."
But Sienna didn't move. She stood frozen, her eyes fixed on the baby in Valtor's arms. And then, she saw the look in his eyes, the look that made her blood run cold.
With a sudden burst of speed, Valtor turned and walked out of the house, the baby still clutched in his arms. Sienna was left standing alone, her mind reeling with the horror of what she had just seen.
As she turned to run back to her mother, she heard a scream. It was Elara.
"Mom are you okay?" Valtor took your sister away and whatever child he's bringing isn't your sibling.
"Mom what are you talking about?" Sienna asked confused.
"I overheard him talking about kidnapping Ren's child. He'll train the child and make him/her kill him in the future"
"But why mom?"
"Because Ren double crossed him in the past and he also got married to the woman he was supposed to marry"
She made to talk more but
Valtor had already returned, his eyes blazing with a madness that Sienna had never seen before. He was holding a knife, and Elara was trying to scramble away from him, but it was too late.
With a swift and deadly motion, Valtor plunged the knife into Elara's chest. Sienna's scream was drowned out by the sound of her mother's body hitting the floor.
As Valtor turned to face Sienna, the knife still clutched in his hand, she knew that she was next. But she didn't back down. She stood tall, her eyes blazing with a fierce determination.
"You'll never get away with this," Sienna spat, her voice trembling with rage and fear.
Valtor's eyes flashed with anger, but he didn't attack.
"That's if I don't kill you,but no you'll be useful in the future"
As the darkness closed in around her, Sienna knew that she would never be the same again. She had witnessed the unthinkable, and she would never be able to erase the memory of her father's brutality from her mind.
FLASH BACK ENDS
Isobel already fell to the fall in tears. Are word shattering before her.
Tears poured out like a lake and she was not ready to stop.
Asher went close and hugged her tightly to himself.
"Valtor will pay, " he said.
"No! I'm killing him myself" she cried more.
