madam Kenneth shouted before I could say anything and I had to get up and get the mattresses ready for all the kids and myself .

I slept while looking out the window and I could see the dim lights and tall buildings from were I was my only prayer was to get there some day .

I wonder what lelam must be up to right now , she must have met her new mom and siblings by now , I got off the bed and went to the window and just watched the city.

I took a glance down and the back gate was open, I then remembered what lee told me , it all made sense now , why she was whispering and crying .

i sneaked to our wardrobe and took my backpack and took everything that belonged to me and shoved it inside , I don't have much so everything fits inside .

I went to the kitchen where madam Kenneth placed her money sometimes , I gasped for air before I took it all and it was enough for taxi to the city . 

I was about to walk out when I heard footsteps approaching , I hid under the table praying it wasn't her and it was she had some water and walked back out .

I sighed and waited a little while for her to go away and after a while I ran to the open window at the back and went out through it and ran as fast as I could to the backgate .

i came across a road and tried to stop a car but no one stopped for about an hour or so , then a taxi stopped and told me to get in , I got in and got off next to a cafe .

I wanted to jump up and down as I span around looking at the building , I was finally in the city and I was the happiest girl now , all I need to do is find my best friend .

I got inside the cafe and bought water since I couldn't afford anything else and I had no place to sleep , where do I even start ?

“i just wish lee was here” .

waking up the next morning everyone waited in the living room for uyazi to make breakfast but nothing , I went to the kitchen to look for her but she wasn't there and then their rooms but nothing .

the buyers are getting here by ten , where could she be ?no relax fk she doesn't know anything so why would she run away ?
