"Damn it!"I slammed my fists on the steering wheel, Furstration and Rage boiling over.

They didn't find him and the authorities were no closer to catching him either.

My blood boiled as I thought about him and the harm he'd caused my family,I felt like killing him with my bare hands and I don't care if he's......

Disrupted from my thoughts,A sudden movement caught my eye. A familiar figure stepped into the road directly into my car.

Nora!  What was she doing here?

I immediately slammed on my brakes and Nora let out a terrified shriek stumbling back at the side of the road just in time.

"I'm s-sorry sir....."She stammered and then looked straight at me. "Mr knights...."she  whispered in surprise, Her voice trembling. 

My anger vanished,replaced by concern. What was Nora Doing in the middle of the road and why did she look so shaken and scared?.

"Nora, What are you doing in the middle of the Road at this time?"I asked,My tone softer than I expected.

Her arms wrapped around her wet body tightly. "I-i went to see a friend?"She answered,Lips trembling from the cold.

A friend? Or Perhaps her boyfriend?. I hope not.

"Get into the car, I'll drive you home"Her Eyes widened again as I said the word 'Home' and she immediately shook her head.

"N-no, Thank you Mr knights. I can walk home. Thanks for the offer"Nora shook her head. 

But I wouldn't let her, Not this late,Not alone. "I wasn't asking"I said firmly,my voice low.

She winced as I grasped her arm and my shot up in concern. "Are you alright?"My tone was too soft and it bothered me.

What is wrong with me?

Nora nodded, Pulling away, Tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. That's when I saw the red bruises on her neck.

"Who fucking did this to you?"I demanded pinning her against my car.

She shook her head trying to protest but my fingers pushed her hair back gently, revealing the bruises on her neck.

"Who the hell did this to you!?"I growled, feeling rage surge through my veins.

Her eyes flashed panic and fear. "It was my cat!"

I locked Eyes with her skeptical. Lily never mentioned about Nora having a cat infact she told me her new friend doesn't like cats.

"Your cat?"

She nodded immediately,but I saw the lie in her eyes.

My fingers brushed another bruise on her cheek and she shivered against my touch. "Your cat also did this?"My voice dropped, menacing.

She nodded again.

"Tell me the truth beautiful,No lies. I just want to hear the truth"

"I-i....S-someone broke into my apartment...He tried to t-touch...."

Rage ignited inside me. "He touched you!"

She nodded slowly, Eyes welling up in tears.

I wrapped my arms around her protectively. "Breath Nora, I'm here. Whoever that man was will pay"

"He had a gun"She whispered, Her voice trembling.

"H-he t-tried to kill me Mr knights but I escaped before he could...I stabbed him"

A fierce smile spread across My face. "Good girl"A faint blush tainted her wet cheeks and she looked away.

"I stabbed him Mr knights_"More tears fell from her eyes.

"You did nothing wrong okay, You protected yourself. You should be proud of yourself"

She nodded.

"Did you see his face?"

She shook her head. "No"

Of course. The bastard wasn't dumb enough to reveal his identity.

But he wouldn't be able to hide for long.

Pulling out my phone from my pants pocket, I dialed a number while she watched my curiously.

"Hello Mr knights"

"Jason, I'll send you a location right now. Someone broke into the apartment and tried to harm a lady there,I want you to find out whoever that b@stard was in the next twenty four hours"
