NORA'S POV
My eyes widened as I took in the breathtaking sight of the knights company.I stood there, mouth agape.
Alexander's Deep chuckle brought me back to reality and I turned to him,My face red.
"It's beautiful"I breathed and he rewarded me with a breathtaking smile that sent butterflies dancing in my belly.
He suddenly took my hand in his, sending tingles through my body, and led me to the elevator. The silence between us was awkward, until my stomach growled loudly, reminding me that I hadn't eaten since yesterday afternoon.
My cheeks flushed red in embarrassment and I looked down away from him.
Alexander's eyes narrowed. "You didn't eat?"He asked,his voice low and concerned.
I shook my head. "I wasn't hungry"I answered quietly.
Alexander's Jaw clenched and he stepped closer,His eyes burning with intensity.
"When last did you eat?"He asked, His voice was soft but firm.
I hesitated,unsure of how to respond. "At lunch yesterday"
My breath hitched when he suddenly tugged my hair slowly bringing my face closer to his. "You shouldn't starve yourself for so long Nora. It could harm your health and I don't want that"He whispered,his breath caressing my skin.
Just then the elevators door opened. And a male voice interrupted us.
"Mr Knights...."The voice trailed off, Eyes wide with surprise and confusion.
Alexander released my hair stepping away from me,His expression Stern. "Dimitri"He acknowledged, his voice deep with authority.
The guy Dimitri nodded, still looking at me with curiosity. "Uh...Mr Knights_You came a little late today"
"This is my company Dimitri, I come and go as I please"Alexander responded curtly.
Dimitri nodded hastily and began to ramble out Mr Knights Schedule and I was surprised. Is this how running a company was? It looked really stressful and draining.
"Get her a nice meal for breakfast"Alexander suddenly instructed,His eyes locked on mine.
My eyes were filled with surprise. "But Mr Knights..."He tried to protest and he glared at him which made him stop talking.
He turned to me,His expression softening. "What would you like to eat?"
I shrugged, feeling a little nervous. "Anything is fine"
His eyes narrowed. "Any Allergies?"He asked and I shook my head.
He turned back to Dimitri. "Get her an Omelette with toast and whisked eggs cooked with vegetables like bell peppers onions and mushrooms." My mouth watered at Alex's description of the food and I couldn't wait to eat already.
"Juice or Smoothie?"He Asked.
"Juice is fine"I responded and his expression turned back to Dimitri.
"Get that for her and bring it up to my office"
Without waiting for a response from him, Alexander took my hand again. As we walked towards another elevator, His employees greets filled the air as they gawked at us.

As I stepped into Alexander's office,My mouth opened in awe. It was so large. Wow! To my left,a bank of windows stretched towards the ceiling, offering a breathtaking view of the city skyline.
I caught glimpses of personal touches here and there_The office described him.
"Don't just stand there, Have a seat"He chuckled, gesturing to the white couch that was a little close to his desk.
I sat down slowly, still staring around in awe. "I like your office"I blurted out and he smiled in in response.
"Thank you, I'm glad you like it."
"So uhm...Why did you bring me here?"I asked, hoping he wasn't annoyed at my question.
He came closer and I reminded myself to breath. "Jason wants to talk to you"He said and my brows arched in confusion.
"Uhm...Am sorry but who's Jason?"
"The one i assigned to find the ba$tard that had the audacity to try to harm you"He responded,His eyes cold.
"Oh"I muttered nervously. The memories of what happened filled my head and i shuddered in fear.
"Nora"Mr Knights approached me but my body wouldn't stop trembling,I glanced at my hand and noticed they were shaking also,My breathing becoming ragged and eyes welling up in tears.
No,No No. A whimper escaped my lips as i realize what was happening to me. I was having a Panic attack.
My chest tightened and I tried to focus on my breathing but it felt like there was an heavy weight in my chest and I can't draw enough air.
Oh God!. I gasped for air.
"Nora, It's okay. Just take some deep breath, You can do this."Mr Knights said taking my hand in his,his eyes staring at me with worry and concern.
I hated that I was this way in front him,I didn't like anyone seeing me in my vulnerable state,This was the second time he'd seen me like this and I hated it. I hated that he had to see me this way...So weak and broken.
I tried to follow his instructions and slowly my breathing came back to normal. The tighteness in my chest eases and I felt my heart slow down.
"That's it beautiful,Breath in and out slowly..."He wrapped his arms around me and I let him hold me breathing him in. I felt his arms tighten around me,My tears still dropping out of my eyes.
His warmth surrounded and for a moment, I felt safe....Felt protected and that made me push myself deeper into his arms.
At this point, I didn't care if I was getting too close. I just wanted to stay in his arms much longer.
