I feel weird going downstairs today because of what happened yesterday. How did he even know about the bet? Maybe Henrietta told him. I am going to stay in my room till he leaves..

"Audrey !!" can't I get a little peace here. I better go check why he Is calling me. (knocks on the door)

"come in" oh that angelic voice of his

"Audrey do you intend starving me today? I mean look at the time for Christ's sake, its past my breakfast time"

"Am sorry sir"

"it's okay, please get my food"

Did he just say please, or am I hallucinating. Things are getting better by the day. First he kissed me, now this. Am so happy.

Ryan's pov

Did I just say please to her, obviously I did. She's the first girl after Jessie to hear the world "please" from my mouth. Audrey what are you doing to me. I have been thinking of her lately..

Audrey's pov

I walked into the kitchen and all the maids turned their eyes looking at me. Oh great, they saw us kissing.

"oh my gosh Audrey, you are so lucky"

"how? " I asked

"sir Ryan kissed you, don't you know how lucky you are, we all have been crushing on him but we are scared so as not to loose our job" another maid said

"please I am not here for this, give me his food"

"here you go. I guess you are going to win this bet " Henrietta said

Whatever, they might say whatever they want, I don't care. I know I will loose my job with time. Why did he have to kiss me and why did I have to kiss him back. But it's not my fault, he is just so cute.

"sir, here is your food" I kept it and wanted to take my leave when his voice stopped me

"Audrey sit"

"sir? "

"you heard me, sit. Please " okay this is weird why is he been so calm to me. I hope it is not a way to tell me I lost my job.

"Audrey, uhmm, I don't know how to say this"

What does he want to say

"but I have to say it, I am sorry"

"for what sir"

"for kissing you yesterday, I was not in the position to kiss you, I am not your boyfriend and I won't want to cause problems between you two"

"sir... "

"shss, there is no need for that, you can leave"
