Ryan's POV
I can't believe this, Audrey was kidnapped. Just on her first day at work
Why didn't I just give a work in my hospital
I was scared I will be distracted and most importantly my mum might disgrace her
But if i should find her, she will start working with me.
I don't care if anything should happen. Her life is much more important
Whoever is behind this kidnapping, will rot in jail
"Ryan, are you okay?" Jeremy asked
"No man, you know I'm not"
"Take it easy, why don't you go report this case to the police?"
"I will do just that as soon as I leave here. Can i have a copy of this footage?"
"Sure dude, anything for you"
He gave me a copy of the footage and i left.
I am so in a hurry, i need to report this case to the cops
Why haven't they called for ransom because i would pay any amount as long as she is alive
I entered my car and as i wanted to drive my phone rang
"Hello?"
"Ryan, son. I've been so worried about you."
"Mum?"
"Yes Ryan, where are you. You just left the house without informing us. Your dad and i have been so worried"
"Mum, can I call you back? There's something I need to do"
"No Ryan, your dad wants you to be at our place right away."
"Mum...."
"Ryan please, don't keep us waiting. We need to see you now"
"(sighs) alright mum, I'm on my way....bye"
Why now? I really need to go to the station.
I guess I will go and meet my parents first
Audrey's POV
Am so weak and hungry.
The lady and her boys gave me the beating of my life
All i feel now are pains
Ryan, where are you? Are you even in search of me?
I knew all this were too good to be true
This is all happening because of Ryan. I would have just gone when his mother sent me away
So this is how my life will end. God please save me
The door flung open and the lady walked in. What does she want this time?
"Hey Audrey"
"What do you want?" I yelled at her
"No need to be rude baby girl, I just came to give you food"
"Why? Is it because you poisoned it? I am dying anyways so no need to feed me"
"Baby girl, I can't poison you. Yes i will kill you but not like this. I want you to feel pains before you die. Now eat up!!"
"I ain't eating that poison you call food"
She landed a hot slap on my cheeks.
"You don't talk back at me sweetheart and if you are not going to eat the food, then..."
She took the food and water and dumped it on me
Oh my goodness, God why is my life a mess?
"You can starve Missy but don't die yet"
"Bye" she said and chuckled

Ryan's POV
I walked into my parent's house and found them seated.
Probably waiting for me
"Good day mum, good day dad"
"Ryan!!!" mum yelled and pulled me into a hug
"Where have you been? I've been worried about you"
"Mum what do you guys wanna talk about? I'm kinda in a hurry"
"Nothing son, we just wanted to see you" dad said
"What!!? And it couldn't wait? I was in the middle of something very important"
"And what is more important than your own family?"
"Audrey mum, Audrey is missing and i was about going to the station to report the case before you guys called"
"What?? Audrey I missing? How?" Dad asked
"Who cares?" mum asked
"Mum!!!"
"Yes son, nobody cares and I need you to stop searching for her"
