The figure coming towards me turned out to be the figure of another huge man that was entirely new to my face. I never saw his face until that moment. He was much more bigger and taller and the huge bea.st I left inside the house and he had a more menacing look that made it obvious that he was much more br.utal than the huge man that murd.ered Grace.
I was taken aback when I saw him and I started wondering whether he has been waiting for me all along while I was busy fighting for my life in the house. His facial expression wasn't that of surprise, rather, it was that of excitement. He was probably excited that his colleague left him something to ki.ll.
He wasn't holding any Axe or any Knife. Judging from how broad and strong looking his hand was, I was so sure that it could take out a whole cow with a single blow. "No wonder why he isn't using any weapon", I thought to myself. He was so sure of what his arms can do and due to this, he never adopted any defensive measure. He just kept on grinning and walking towards me carelessly.
I kept on watching him walking towards me and I didn't run. Not that I was transfixed on the spot, I was just looking out for a defected part of the fence so that I can run to it, climb over it and make my escape.
I was at the verge of taking off after spotting a very good spot that'll aid my escape when I noticed another figure lagging lazily behind the new huge man. The figure turned out to be that of the huge man that murd.ered Grace and I couldn't just see him earlier because he was hiding behind the new huge man. I literally couldn't see him earlier because the body of the new huge man was just too big.
The bags and the knives were still strapped tightly to his waist and most of it were covered in Grace's blood now. He dipped his hands into one of the bags and he brought out a meat that obviously belong to Grace and he showed it to the other huge man. He smiled in approval after seeing the red meat and he pointed to me as if he was saying "you're next".
He returned the meat into his bag thereafter and immediately after he did that, they surprised me with something shocking.
The two of them broke into a run as soon as they saw me and I was quite caught unaware.
I started running towards the direction of the defected part of the fence I saw earlier and they followed me in hot pursuit.
I was still running with all the strength I've got when something that was very sharp pierced into leg. It momentarily stopped me from running and when glanced down to check what it pierced me leg, it turned out to be a knife.
Blood started gushing out of my leg and it slowed me down. My running turned to a hop and I was hoping as fast as I could. I flung myself lazily on the fence as soon as I hopped there and I tried to climb over it.
I was unable to climb the fence due to my injured leg and the blood that was coming out of my legs just made me weaker. Tears started dropping out of my eyes and I just stood still on the spot, waiting for the new huge man to snap me into two.
The bigger man grabbed me with his strong arms and he flung me away violently. It was so violent that I hit my head on the floor while landing.
"You think you can get away from us. You don't know we are", the huge man said with a smirk while walking towards me.
My sight started to blur and I could only see his hazy figure moving towards me. I gradually started to lose my hearing and seeing senses.
"Give me one of those knives. It'll be a waste to break his neck with my bare hands. He doesn't worth", the faint voice of the man said.
I watched as the previous huge man handed the knife to him and he started working towards me slowly, with the knife in his hands.
"I guess this ends it now", I muttered to myself.
