"Be more careful Mathia!. What if you were seen by someone!?." Mother says.
I laughed. "No one saw me killing her. Trust me mother I had fun." She faced me with a stern look, I rolled my eyes and nod. "Ok! Ok! I'll be more careful." I said.
"Good. You just have to be close to the man."
"Alright. But.....she knows already." I seethe.
"She knows who you are?." She asks.
"Yes! I still wonder how!." I yelled getting vexed.
She paused for a while and faced me. "Her mother must have told her. She has the support of her kingdom so don't be surprised. You have to act smart. " she tells with a smirk.
I nod in response. Its time to go to the human world, I magically dressed myself in short black gown, letting my long brown hair fall on my shoulders.
"Bye mother. " I said while she nods.
I appeared into my own office through the wall, I guess an pretty early. I dropped my handbag on the table and walked out through the door. I've got to gain the man's trust because that's the only way I can get close to him. Nobody will stop me from doing that not even Amara. I can feel he isn't around yet, I opened his office door with the key he gave me yesterday and entered. Tidied up everywhere obviously with magic.
The door knob twisted as it opens revealing Collins in black neat tuxedos. He is cute tho.
"Good morning sir." I greet with a small bow, faking a smile. Gosh the smile is killing me deep inside. I hate to smile except if I've done something evil worth a smirk.
"Morning." He says and looked around.
"You're early. That's good." He walked towards his chair and sat comfortably.
"Work on this, would ya." He tells in a strict voice as he stretched forth a file.
"So annoying!. If I get what am here for, I promise to drain all your blood for my evil spells." I cursed inwardly.
Am so gonna have to control my temper whenever am with him.
"Alright sir." I forced myself to speak and collect it from him. I bowed and left his office to mine.
I sat on my chair once I got inside my office and opened the file. What the heck is this? I don't even know anything about this file. My eyes turned red as the file became perfect without even glancing back at it. I stood up and walked to his office with the file.
"Sir?." I said with a knock on his door.
"Come in. I entered and stood opposite him.
"Yeah?."
"Am done with it." I said politely. He raised up his head perplexed.
"What?.But I just gave you." He says with a mean look. I guess he doesn't smile. Not my problem.
Collins
That was so fast....., how could she do it so quick? I guess she's the perfect person I actually need.
"What? But I just gave you." I said while she nods.
"Alright. Drop it." I instruct. She bows and placed it on my table. She intends to leave but stops when I called her. "Yes sir?." She asks.
"Get me coffee." I ordered,
"Okay sir." She leaves for the door.
I took the file and cross checked it, it's so perfectly done. No errors made. She's really good.
Amara
"Good morning sir." I stood up to greet my Boss, Mr Bryan as he approaches towards my office. My office is a little bit kinda transparent.
"Morning miss Amara. How was your night.?" He asks with a genuine smile.
I reply. "It was fine. Thank you."
"Alright. Come to my office in the next five minutes." He said and walked away.
I nod. "Okay sir."
Mr Bryan is very friendly. He is tall, blonde haired, have green eyes and a little bit handsome I guess.
My phone beeped, Tricia actually bought that for me four days after i began living With her. She's so nice. Its a text message from Tricia. It states
📲 Hi Amara, be careful of Mathia ok? Love you.
I smiled and text back. 📲 Thanks. Love you too.
I actually slept late yesterday because of Tricia, I had to enchant so many spells in front of her. She was so excited like a child.
I dropped my phone on the table and walked to the direction of Mr Bryan's office. I stopped on my spot when I noticed the glowing🌟 of my bracelet.
"That's odd, why is it glowing?." I muttered low. I covered the bracelet with my left hand as a lady walked past me. Something isn't right with the way my bracelet keeps sparkling.
"zһѧňıєuғıňѧ " I utter low and closed my eyes.
I can see someone coming from a cafeteria, she held a cup of coffee. I viewed closely, the coffee contains sedative and she's heading towards Collins office.
"Oh no." I said and opened my eyes. I looked right and left, I can't sight anyone holding a cup of coffee. I have to go to Collins office so as to prevent him from talking it.
I sighted Mathia entering his office with the coffee which is a little bit far from where I stood. I should have known she is the one! I walked to the door and barged in.
Mathia
"ɢѧ mıяѧ ı яѧţo ғıňѧʟ u " I cast. My eyes turns red as the coffee bubbled up bringing black smokes
He's going to fall asleep while I'll take the amulet from his neck. I smirk devilishly walking towards his office, knocked and entered.
"Uhm sir. Your coffee." I said politely and handed it to him.
"Oh thanks." He says collecting it.
He was about to sip from it when someone stupidly barged in. My blood boiled in anger and hatred when I sight her. What is she doing here!!
"Sir! Don't..drink..." She tries speaking.
"How dare you? " Collins stood up dropping the coffee back on the table. Darn It!!
"How dare you barge into my office?." Collins seethe placing his two hands in his pockets.
"I.....was...." Amara got interrupted by the knock on the door again. Collins breathe in and speaks. " come in."
A lady who i assume is Cindy by name came in and bows at him. " Mr Smith is here to see you sir." She says.
"Direct him in." He answers with a stern voice. She nods and left.
"Am so sorry sir." Amara apologized with her head bent low.
"Save it!" He snaps at her and faced me.
"And you, take this away. I have a visitor. Both of you get outta here." He instructs harshly.
I secretly glared at Amara, took the coffee and went out.
"I told you.....you're never gonna win this battle Mathia Zalu." She speaks in her mind as we both left the office.
I scoffed. "It isn't yet over Amara." I seethe. We are both communicating through our mind.
"No matter how hard you try, you are a sore loser." She says staring intensely at me with a deadly glare.
"I hate you." I cursed.
"Hate you more Mathia." She winks and walked away.
I screamed inwardly with range. How dare her to interfere in my plans!?. Screw you Amara!!
