She touched my cheeks and kissed my forehead. "Now we know why you are destined to get married to him."
"What are you talking about mother?."
"A man is destined to possess the powers of the amulet because through him, a child will bring an end to the dark evil world. You two are destined to be together Amara."
"A child??."

"Yes Amara."
I cleaned the sweats gathering on my forehead with my palm and threw a brief look at Collins. "Wow." I mumbled and faced mom.
"I never knew he could possess the powers."
"Exactly. You have to always protect him from any unforeseen danger. Mathia and her mother won't give up so easily, they'll do anything possible to destroy you but we have your back. Ok?."
"Okay mother. Thank you." I said and hugged her tight.
"Be careful. I love you." She whispers within the hug. I smirk and disengage.
"Bye for now my princess." She says and waved at me. I nod and watched her disappear.
I breathe in heavily and walked to the couch to sleep.
"mıяıţo." I enchant. The lamp beside Collins bed switched off itself as darkness took over. I close my eyes and slowly drift off to sleep.
Morning 🌄
I sit up properly on the couch and extend my arms above my head with a yawn. I notice a blanket covering me, I didn't use a blanky to sleep last night. Or did I??.
"Good morning."
I almost flinched when I heard his angelic voice. I looked at him, he's standing four meters away from me. He's dressed up in a deep blue tux which fits him perfectly, his black hair gelled to a side.
Whoa.....I guess he has already recovered. I removed the blanket covering my body and stand up to my feet.
"Good morning sir." I greets lowering my head.
He smirks revealing his deep deep dimples in both cheeks. I almost drool in front of him, I have no idea he has dimples! Geez! He's so cute. I do wonder if he's actually my soulmate.
"Yeah, how was your night?." He asks.
I wasn't expecting that question though. I composed myself and replied. "Fine sir."
He nods and gently tuck his hands into his tux pockets. "Get dressed. We're heading to my company here. You'll be taking Mathia's position henceforth." He says as he glance at his wristwatch.
"Seriously??." I thought.
Collins
I woke up early this morning feeling better. My body does not ache anymore, It's a miracle, I guess. I got up from the bed to go to the bathroom. I have to be at my company very early today, there are some important stuffs i wanna resolve.
I glance at Amara, she's still asleep on the couch. I sigh and grab a blanket from the bed and covered her well with it without waking her up.
I fixed my gaze at her. My lips formed an unexpected smile, she......looks.....cute as she sleeps. I still wonder if I really called her from Canada. Seeing her here is a big surprise.
Strands of her curly hair covered her face, I tuck it slowly behind her earlobe and got up from her. I picked the outfits am gonna wear for work and head to the bathroom.
Minutes later, I came out dressed up almost ready for work. I put on my shoes and my expensive wristwatch.
"Good morning." I said when I noticed she's awake.
She glance at me and stood up quickly. "Good morning sir." She greets lowering her head.
"Yeah, how was your night?." I asked. I have no reason why I asked that question, its unlike me. Maybe I care because she stayed with me when i fell sick.
"Fine sir."
"Get dressed. We're heading to my company here. You'll be taking Mathias position henceforth." I instruct glancing at my wristwatch.
I have no choice since that bitch isn't here plus she stole my amulet.
"Alright sir." She says.
"One more thing. We're gonna move to my mansion after work today. So when you're done, arrange your things and bring our luggage outside. My driver is currently waiting for us. Be quick." I said as she nods her response. I moved towards the door and went out.
Amara
After having a quick bath, I magically got dressed in peach colored gown, black stilettos with handbag since I brought nothing with me. I wasn't planning to spend a week with him here in Canada. I just wanted to save him from Mathia.
"zһѧňѧıɢѧňѧ." I snap my finger as a blue luggage containing stuffs i'll be needing appears. I held his luggage with 'mine' and went out of the room. I saw Collins leaning against the wall as I locked the door, his eyes is glued to his phone's screen.
"Am done sir." I tell.
He faced me and nod. "Let's go."
I trail behind him with our luggage. He stopped at the reception room, he had a brief chat with the receptionist and submits the room key.
We head towards the exist and sight a white Lamborghini parked outside.
"Good morning boss."
A guy standing next to the Lamborghini greeted when I and Collins approached him.
"Morning." Collins replies. The guy opens the back seat door for him as he got in.
The driver helped me place our luggage in the boot, I got in and sit on the passenger's seat. An awkward silence took over as we hit the road.
